Disability Arran was originally set up for disabled islanders and tourists seeking to enjoy Arran to the fullest as a disabled person. We are a registered charity with OSCR, the Scottish charity regulator run by volunteers. What we do will continue to expand over time. As an Access Panel, we can also check and comment on building plans and work with the council to make sure buildings and services are as accessible as possible. The team are also planning several projects, including setting up support groups, campaigning against care cuts, and making sure the Ardrossan Harbour redevelopment will be accessible to all.
